To last a lifetime and beyond
Crafted from natural materials and made with care, your furniture will age beautifully over time.
With just a little maintenance and mindfulness, it can remain a beloved part of your home for generations.

Cleaning - less is more
Our pieces are finished with a protective, low-sheen hardwax oil that allows the natural grain of the timber to shine through. To keep them looking their best:
– Dust regularly with a soft, dry cloth — this gentle act alone can help preserve the surface.
– For a deeper clean, a lightly damp microfiber cloth works well.
– Avoid harsh chemical sprays or abrasive cleaners, which can wear away the finish or dull the timber’s natural warmth.

Protection from spills & stains
Timber is a natural, porous material — which means it’s both beautiful and responsive to its environment. To help avoid stains or water marks:
– Wipe spills promptly, especially liquids like coffee, wine, or citrus.
– Use coasters for both hot and cold drinks — especially metal water bottles or cups, which can leave condensation rings or dark marks over time.
– Be mindful of oils and alcohol-based products (like perfumes or diffusers), which can affect the finish.

Protection from sunlight
Over time, consistent exposure to direct sunlight can lighten, yellow, or unevenly darken a surface. To minimise natural ageing:
– Try to avoid placing your furniture in direct, all-day sun.
– Rotate decorative objects occasionally so the colour of the timber fades evenly.
– If you're styling near windows, consider using sheer curtains or UV film to soften the intensity.
– For outdoor furniture, maintain the richness of the teak timber by applying an outdoor furniture oil every 6-12 months.
A touch of light brings out the best in timber — but a little shade helps it last.

Direct heat & AC
Timber is alive in the best of ways. It moves subtly with the seasons, responding to shifts in humidity and airflow. To help it stay stable:
– Avoid placing pieces directly in front of heating or cooling vents, where dry air can draw moisture from the wood.
– Maintain consistent indoor conditions where possible.
– If your piece is in a particularly dry or air-conditioned space, a bowl of water or small humidifier nearby can help balance the environment.
